DTS-I family consists of three bikes 200 cc DTS-I, 180 cc DTS-I and 150 cc DTS-I.These bikes are equipped with the latest technology and advances in the Indian motorcycle industry.
The dual ignition Twin Spark (DTS-I)-technology that drives these cycles is an advanced expertise in the business of motor cycle in this country. The combustion chamber is just a normal light at one end. But new technology has two spark plugs, ie at both ends of the combustion chamber to facilitate combustion of fuel. In this way, makes this technology possible, faster and better combustion of fuel. Bajaj Auto is currently in the process of patenting the technology in India.
Ignition is lit candle is controlled by a digital CDI with a switch 8-bit microprocessor that controls the delivery of sparks to the spark plugs. The microprocessor is programmed with information about the ignition timing at all engine speeds. This gives the best performance of the combustion chamber.
Digital CDI works with the system Trice III, which is an abbreviation for the ignition system responsive throttle – the third generation. The special DTS-FI
DTS-Fi, which is the heart of the Pulsar 220 CC, which replaces the conventional carburetor with a fuel injection system.
